Greetings, dear readers!

I have promised to show you what I've been up to via creative madness, but first, I want to give you a bit of a quiz.

Remember the fabric I told you I found? For those who do not, go here to take a peek...

Anyway, here is what it's become...

I used a 12 x 12 canvas with 1" depth, painted the background using black and white pearl paint...I painted luminous yellow where the windows are in the wooden haunted house cut out. Then I snipped images and scenes from the fabric, and decoupaged it onto the canvas, incorporating the haunted house into the scene.

I lovingly call the guys above, Drac is back, Mr. Bones, and I Want My Mummy!

Bats in the Belfry...of course!

Have Broom Will Travel!

I love the owl and the tree scene...I added a metal spider and glittered him up to hang out in the web!

The whispy, cob webby stuff is batting that I've strung from the corner of the house and around the edges of the canvas.

I decided to use glittery ravens instead of sconces beside the painting...I simply printed them out, glued them onto chipboard, glittered them up and voila! Raven Sconces! (Katie Runnels had a very similar tutorial on the Artsy Mama Sweet and Sinister Blog. I thought it odd that we both thought of bird silhouettes...great minds and all that, I suppose!)

This is one of the items that will be on sale in my shoppe!

I also wanted to call your attention to the Blogoversary counter in my sidebar! Be here for FABulous giveaways and fun on my blogoversary! Cupcakes and party favors for all!

More soon!
