Greetings, dear reader!

I am writing to you OH SO BRIEFLY from the beaches of Fort Myers, Florida! The sun is shining on my face, and I rode through town today with a friend in her convertible. It's hard to imagine snow back at home when I am surrounded by palm trees.

Tonight we plan to dine at a beach restaurant, and then tomorrow we're off to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Supposed to be the BEST for shelling...WOOHOO!

More soon, dear friends!
Paula Clare

Paula it sounds like you're having a great time. I don't envy the weather, as mine is pretty spectacular, too, but I do envy your nearness to the beach and ocean. Continue having fun please!

Don't forget to check in at my blog as I have something for you to see.

Paula Clare, welcome to Florida! There was a wonderful little bakery in Sanibel called Incredible Edible that had the most wonderful and huge chocolate croissants! I haven't been in years, but I still remember it well ;-) Enjoy your stay, and I hope the weather stays warm enough for you.

I can only imagine...what Florida might be like now. How nice for you to let your hair down and zoom down the Florida palm lined streets in the convertable! I can see it now...
