IMAGIMERI WELCOMED BY MINDY SMITH, ROPING COWGIRL AND OUR FRIEND GILBERT!

Greetings, campers!

Your friendly campground host here with the latest campground news. BREAKING STORY: Imagimeri rolled in LATE last night with her 1955 Candy Apple Red Shasta...we really could not appreciate its stunning beauty until the sun came up this morning...behold:

You'll notice there's a surprise guest that rolled in the wee hours of the morning...our friend Gilbert the Gnome! He's currently taken up residence in the Clouse Canned Ham. He's been quite a hit around the campground...everybody loves gnomes!

You'll also note Mindy Smith chose this shady spot to rehearse for tonight's concert, (and I suspect that is the reason the little cowgirl chose THIS PLACE to practice her roping skills also!) It's as tho everyone KNOWS it's PARTY TIME when Meri comes to town!

The sparkling red "paint job" is killer...and the chrome bumpers and cut out details on the sides make this no ordinary Shasta! I can't be sure if the lady in the window is so surprised to see the warm reception they've received, or if she is terrified of Meri's driving (lol) ...either way...they are set up and ready to meet and greet the last two of our campers as they roll in today and tomorrow! We have only two spots left and have had to turn away other campers! Better get here, gals! We're all waiting on you!

On the menu for tonight's campfire...

Campfire chicken and veggies (1/4 chicken with potatoes, carrots, onions and corn)
coffee can bread
Blueberry cobbler

Ya'll come!

I'll just let you know that the only problem with my driving is that I have a lead foot! I've actually been teaching others how to drive for years. The little surprised lady is noticing how shiny and new her canned ham is, and she's just happy to be in it.

Hugs,
Meri

Wow! Your blog is so imaginative. I mean you are so imaginative! I love the look you have going here. Are you on the road RVing? I am a social worker by profession but on an RV adventure working as a camp host for the past ten months with husband and two doggies. If you have a minute, come on over and visit my two blogs: A Camp Host Housewife's Meanderings and Levonne's Pretty Pics. Thanks.
