Well, actually, creating an art journal AND taking pictures...LOTS of pictures...and WRITING A BOOK! I am SO excited! And the VERY BEST PART is that you, my dear friends, family and faithful blogging companions, can be part of it!

One of the most exciting parts of this project is that YOU can come WITH ME in the canned ham as hubby dear, Webster the Wonder Dog and I travel across the United States to find the strange, weird, kitschy, and off-the-beaten-path treasures in America! Vicarious Travel at its finest!
In the video, I've also revealed my "prototype" for the canned ham vintage tag I'll be adding to your vintage camper tag rings! I hope YOU think its as darling as I do!

What a wonderful adventure to chronicle. I want one of those stinkin' "canned hams" so bad I can taste it! Oops that was an inadvertent pun. We traveled part of Route 66 across country when I was a child, many many many....years ago. Can't wait to hear and see more.
Hi Pam! There's an old shasta down the road from me...it's pretty rough, but I had to go an take a look anyway...there's such charm and nostalgia in the old girls, don't you think? The thing was a mess, leaky, and pretty stripped bare, but I always see a "silk purse in a sow's ear" as my gramma used to say! It's only $700 obo...want me to pick it up for you? lol
