NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN...

Greetings, dear readers!

Today marks the occasion of the one year "anniversary" of the passing of my dear friend, Deb Smith. In so many ways I cannot believe it's been a year already, but in others it feels as only moments ago that she passed from this life to the next.

I'd like to direct you to the site that was set up for her before her death...a friend and family members thought it would be the best way to connect with folks who were far away but still wanted to share their prayers, thoughts and concerns. It has been a touchpoint for me...Deb was buried in Ohio and so I do not have the opportunity to go to her gravesite and speak with her, leave flowers, or do any other kind of tangible expression of love. The blogsite is all I have...and I am grateful.

There are photos, poems, but mostly the words of family and friends who express their genuine appreciation for Deb's presence in their lives. It is a reminder to all of us that one person CAN make a difference...even if it's one person at a time.

Thanks Deb...for all you were and for all you did for so many...AND for ME. I miss you terribly.

Dear Marie,
Thank you SO MUCH for your kind compassion and concern. Losing a dear friend is one of the toughest things I've ever gone through...sounds like I'm in good company...lots of "sisters" in blogland who feel my pain!

Blessings to you and yours!
Hugs,
Paula Clare
