UNIQUE KITS, AMAZING ARTISTS

Greetings dear readers! TGIF! TGIF! Does anyone else feel my pain? Can I get a witness out there?!?

With the weekend upon us, I am happy to report my DARLING son and his WONDERFUL fiance will be visiting this weekend:

We will be going to the St. Louis Zoo on Saturday, AND The Old Spaghetti Factory after! WOOT! If you are local...or even semi-local, you simply MUST make a day trip and go to the St. Louis Zoo. It is quite literally world class and one the best, most amazingly maintained and landscaped zoos in the world. Truly a blessing to live so close to such wonders!

In other news (thus the title of this post) I wanted to let you in on a few of the "well kept secrets" of scrapbooking...both paper and digital.

I'm certain those of you who are fans of the incredible Ngaire Bartlam (of Blog Me Baby fame) know about the Aussie based company: Tarisota Collections. (I'm beginning to think perhaps Australia has cornered the market on all things crafty...) The company has some of the most unique and completely amazing kits. Truly. You MUST go check it out. Go! NOW! You've got to be pretty "quick on the draw" to get the "I Want It All" kit, which includes a vast array of fibers, papers, embellies, books, albums, and the list goes on and on!

One truly unique company of Digital Scrapbooking, and genuinely a "best kept secret" who's time has come:
Catscrap.

There's are some of the most unique and artistic designs I've ever encountered...just look at a few of these examples:

Amazing, yes? How cute is the little mushroom guy? Catscrap is having a big birthday bash...you can check out the details on their blog!

If you become a "rabid fan" as I have, you might like to add their blinkie to your blog!

You'll be seeing stuff from BOTH of these places in upcoming layouts and paper projects! Speaking of upcoming...
