"SPRING HAS SPRUNG" GIVEAWAY/CONTEST

Hello once again, dear reader!

I don't know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods, but here in Southern Illinois it seems spring has FINALLY sprung! The lilac and forsythia bushes are abloom, the tulip and dogwood trees are beautiful clouds of pink and white. My husband (much to his chagrin) dragged out the lawnmower for its maiden lawn voyage. Neither he nor the mower were very excited about the experience.

Now, weather report aside...here are the "rules" for the contest and the big T-Shirt and RAK GIVEAWAY:

1. Leave a comment on THIS post
2. Answer this question with your comment: "What is your favorite spring 'thing'?"
3. The contest ends at midnight on April 30th.
4. I will assign a number to all comments, and then run them in a random number generator.
5. I will select 4 winners!
a. 2 lucky winners will get a Paula's Palace of AltAred Art T-Shirt
b. 2 will receive a goodie box filled with a scrapbooking kit (papers from Bazzill Basics, Boxer Scrapbook, SEI and Ellison)(everything you need to create your own photo album), vintage fabric & trims, a few FAB altered art embellishments
c. each winner will also receive an original ATC created by ME!

WOOHOO! Go here if you want to see the T-shirts you may win!

I'm jealous that you're seeing signs of spring already--the weather man promised spring for mid next week up here in minnesota, but I won't believe it until I see it.

My favorite thing about spring is flip flops---as it's always sad for me to have to put them away in the fall--my toes happily get a pedicure so they can be seen!

No need to enter me in the giveaway...I'm trying to get rid of stuff before the move!! But sooo generous of you. I found more stuff for you yesterday--that blue tote that I told you you could have, more ME fabric, and a stash of vintage ribbons/rickrack/trim that my Aunt Dot had given me. Let me know what you want and I can take the rest (and my collection of babyfood jars!) to the STL City Museum.
Oh and fav spring thing?? The flowers coming up :)
Heading to Archivers and thinking of you and Deb!!

Well, allow me to be the first in line for the latest fab giveaway here at the palace. My favorite part of spring is getting the ground tilled up and planting our garden. (yes, I've become quite the little gardening gal...can you believe it??) I love the smell and cool soft feel of the freshly tilled earth under my bare feet, that peek out from under my cotton skirt...what could be more wonderful???

Hugs~

My favorite thing about spring definitely has to be the snow melting. But other than that, I love when the tulips finally bloom. Thank you for the chance. Your shirts are very cute.

I love spring! I like the light greenness of spring. It's my favorite color, and the freshness of white and bright green is so invigorating. I like white dogwoods and new green leaves.
I do NOT like the easter rabbits and pastel colors though. Bleh.

Thanks so much for this cool gift!

Dogwoods have to be my favorite sign of spring--LOVE THEM! However, since we will be transitioning to a new country where brown is the color (all the time everywhere) I think I appreciate all sorts of buds and blooms!

My favorite spring thing...since Virginia was in a drought last year, I so a lot of trees die or loose their leaves early. I am now driving around, looking to see if those trees are alive and if I see lots of new green leaves & buds, I'm very happy. So the new growth on trees if my favorite spring thing this year. Thanks for hosting this lovely contest.

My favorite spring thing would have to be watching the mama birds build their nests. We anxiously hope and wait to see the baby birds hatch.
